Sam's new wheel.

Sam took me on a road trip to wolves to get a chin spoiler off a 480 that was being broken. As it happens the car didn't have one. But it did have this rather nice momo steering wheel! So i brought it for her. Only cost me a tenner! It would look great in the red car but she saw it first!

And very nice it is too. It doesn't have a petrol engine however. Therefore i have no idea how to work it!

Only available in grey. But i want my interior to be black! Here's my freshly painted interior light fitting. Now in black! Yay!

Went to get a seat out of a car.

Don't ask me why, long story! But look what i found! It's bloomin snowing!

Mk2 wing mirrors.

I got a pair of mk2 mirrors for the 480 turbo for a fiver each. Problem was that they were white. Plastkote red looks pretty close to Volvo red 231. Fingers crossed it's close enough! At least it won't look as silly as white!

The multi media toolbox.

Now i can listen to radio two, tell the time and light my smokes while i am spannering!

My new interior.

Ok so it's not the full leather but it is half leather it was cheap as chips it is in way better nick than than my original interior and it's black. Thats me happy then!

Sam has a new t-shirt.

And I believe the shirt speaks for itself. Sigh. How mean!

My new toolbox

All good mechanics need a good toolbox. This is mine. I built it myself. With a little help from some ikea cheapo storage drawers. Sure i could have saved up for a snap-on took chest but i think building your own tool chest is more like a rite of passage for a decent spanner monkey!

Whats wrong with this picture!

Well dear reader today i am luckier than ever to be alive. After a high speed thirty mile motorway trip to work i had a blow out in the office car park. The tyre had rubbed no a loose exhaust but chose to explode as i pulled to a stop. So it's space saver tyre on.which looks very odd. Many thanks to my guardian angel and off home tonight at less than fifty miles an hour at all times!

Well thats the gearbox out!

After a days work i have removed the box from my 480 turbo. Would have been even quicker had it not been for one pesky bolt that didn't want to play fair. The good news is that the ominous grinding noises don't seem to be coming from the box itself rather from a broken clutch friction plate. Fingers crossed a new clutch will sort it right out!

On the way to work

My journey this morning was somewhat delayed. Not by flooding as you might expect but by the councils first attempt at it's new doorstep refuse collection initiative!

The roof leaks a bit

An eventful afternoon at work. The roof gave up and we got a waterfall in our meeting room. Didn't cause enough havoc for us all to get the day off though:(

I'm a very proud granddad!

This is me and our first grandson. He was born yesterday evening. Mother and baby both doing very well.

You know your life is wierd when....

It's friday night. There are two sexy naked women in bed with me. What am i thinking... I'm thinking i could really go for beans on toast with some cheese grated over the top! So thats just what i did. Off to the kitchen and made myself supper. Back to bed to eat it. Not that easy though, the girls seemed to want to distract me. It's hard to eat in bed when the bed is full of writhing horny girls. Hard life being me.

The four eighty lives!

I just had a text from my great mate. He and i have been spannering away at since it failed it's mot. I brought it from ebay for fifty quid! We put a new radiator in it but the mot man said no. Apparently the final bits were finished today and my mate got it in for mot and didn't tell me! Time to celebrate a hard fought pass!
